The GenSolve DNA COMPLETE kit combines the acknowledged superior quality and quantity of DNA extracted by GenSolve with an equally superior column based purification to yield the best and most DNA possible form Dried Blood Spots on paper. Highest quality dsDNA can be efficiently recovered at higher yield from treated paper, i.e. GenSaver or FTA, and plain paper, i.e. GenCollect and Guthrie cards than using other techniques. GenPlates®: are an automation friendly, high density format for biobanking of raw blood, buffy coat, saliva and other fluid biospecimens at room temperature for later extraction of high quality dsDNA. The GenPlate is a high density 384-microplate format with a 6-mm disc of FTA paper in each well. For decades now, FTA paper has been the de-facto standard for protecting DNA that is stored on paper as dried blood spots. GenPlates have been storing and protecting DNA in dried blood spots since 2006, and are protected by US and Int. Patents. GenPlates are available in several formats to best fits the storage needs of your samples.
The FastDryer is a simple, economical and convenient way to dry biosamples following application to GenTegra-DNA or GenTegra-RNA. Each FastDryer will accept one 96-well microplates, one rack of 0.3 ml cluster tubes, one GenPlate or up to 48, 0.5 ml, screw-cap tubes. Most samples of ≤ 50 µl will be dried overnight and be ready for storage in the morning. The FastDryer has been tested and shows no carryover between samples.
